Review:

Yes I finished the first one but it felt almost like a cliffhanger, it was feeling like he had feelings for her and then the book ended. 

I liked the way her brother was dealt with but I guess my skepticism but I can't see them hanging a peer for the accusation of trying to rape women. (I'd buy they'd do something to him over the attempted murder of his sister but not the other accusations)

It kind of angers me that the whole plot was because of drunk guy at a club and a dude who had a thing for revenge. Not going to lie, def gives big men are too emotional to be in charge vibes

Epiphanies/quotes:

- “I came for you, little dove.” - I mean it was obvious at the end of the first book that he was falling for her. He had finally kissed her after going out of the way to avoid it.

The High Mountain Court

Mulford   Publisher:  Year Published: 2021 Started:  April 10th 2022 Finished: April 13th 2022 Review: This is a book  that feels rushed, it could have maybe benefitted from another 200 or so pages. While there was decent world building in parts, others felt completely glossed over and we were left to fill in the gaps.  .  I do love a fated mates trope but again it feels rushed. Also it seems like it's going to be enemies to lovers, but she is into from the moment they meet, and I need my enemies to lovers crack  I did enjoy that the witches seemed to be main characters like the fae, and not secondary until they became annoying to the plot.
