Review:

This is the 2nd book in the air awakens series. (I aim to actually finish this series eventually, I've never been able to get through the 3rd it's too cringe in parts for me tbh)

Also why does she trust him, like I get it, everyone loves a bad boy but he's more of a creep at times than a bad boy and just some of  the things he says to her are down right cruel



Epiphanies/quotes/ Things to remember:

- I feel like we don't talk enough about the fact Vhalla relieves Aldrik's suicide attempt  through a dream and she has a better response to that than someone else trying to kill him. (does she just not fully understand what is going on here?)

-  “Fine then, my princess.” He smirked. “Stop,” Vhalla cautioned. “Why, my queen?”

    I get that he's trying to flirt and make her feel better but it's not working and it feels like he's hurting her feelings too.

The High Mountain Court

Mulford   Publisher:  Year Published: 2021 Started:  April 10th 2022 Finished: April 13th 2022 Review: This is a book  that feels rushed, it could have maybe benefitted from another 200 or so pages. While there was decent world building in parts, others felt completely glossed over and we were left to fill in the gaps.  .  I do love a fated mates trope but again it feels rushed. Also it seems like it's going to be enemies to lovers, but she is into from the moment they meet, and I need my enemies to lovers crack  I did enjoy that the witches seemed to be main characters like the fae, and not secondary until they became annoying to the plot.
