Rhys is a dick but it is interesting that he's a dick in both Cassian and Nesta's PoV not  just Nesta's, might have made more sense 

Nesta is terrible to Cassian, even after they've been sleeping together for some time (Like she gets annoyed with others claiming he's just a brute but then she turns around and says the same thing about him a page or two later)

Also this is not as spicy as everyone claimed, yes they fuck but mostly in their rooms. (It's implied it happens elsewhere but not described as of 85% this may change) Nope still not that spicy, like it's allluded to them fucking around the whole house but it's not explicit. It didn't feel anymore explicit than most adult romances that aren't marketed as clean, I'm not sure I understand all the 1 star reviews over it

Also while I understand why Nesta had to give up some of her power, she'd be too powerful to make parts of the next books interesting but I don't like why she did it, esp. since in the 2nd book feyre had stated she didn't want kids for a long time and the whole ending ultimately felt forced/ ooc for a few people



Epiphanies/quotes/ Things to remember:

- too close to home in some parts, ngl I felt called out by some of things nesta admits/ what the otehrs say about her 

--It is ok to fail, I know I myself struggle with this hence why I felt like some parts of this book were calling me out and making observations a little to close to home

-  “You never deserve the benefit of the doubt that good people like him give you.” (Mor to Nesta about Cassian) (side thought: does this imply at some point in time he gave Keir the benefit of the doubt?)

- "I am worthless and I am nothing," (Nesta to herself )

- “Filthy mind.” He flicked her cheek. “Too much smut.” - Ok but for real did she have to call me out like that?

The High Mountain Court

 Title:   The High Mountain Court Author : A.K. Mulford   Publisher:  Year Published: 2021 Started:  April 10th 2022 Finished: April 13th 2022 Review: This is a book  that feels rushed, it could have maybe benefitted from another 200 or so pages. While there was decent world building in parts, others felt completely glossed over and we were left to fill in the gaps.  .  I do love a fated mates trope but again it feels rushed. Also it seems like it's going to be enemies to lovers, but she is into from the moment they meet, and I need my enemies to lovers crack  I did enjoy that the witches seemed to be main characters like the fae, and not secondary until they became annoying to the plot.
